This large-scale new build garden transformation took a completely raw plot — compacted builder's rubble, weeds, and bare earth with no usable outdoor space whatsoever — and delivered a clean, structured, low-maintenance garden that works hard across every zone. Starting with a full excavation using a Kubota mini digger to strip, level and prepare the ground to precise depths, the project was carefully planned to maximise the generous plot with distinct functional areas. The main entertaining patio was laid in mixed-size Indian sandstone flags in a rich blue-grey blend, running the full width of the property and wrapping along the side return — finished with a charcoal block paving edging detail and a neat slate gravel border along the house wall that keeps maintenance minimal and the aesthetic sharp. A large dedicated gravel zone, edged in the same charcoal block border, was installed at the rear of the garden — ideal for a future garden room, outdoor kitchen, or play equipment area, and fully weed-membraned beneath for long-term performance. The remainder of the plot was finished with freshly laid turf, creating a generous, even lawn that ties all zones together. The result is a practical, well-proportioned outdoor space that gives a brand new home a finished garden from day one — built to a specification that will last for years with minimal upkeep.
