This ambitious bungalow garden overhaul took a tired, overgrown outdoor space — patchy lawn, weed-filled borders, crumbling natural stone paving, and no cohesive design — and replaced it entirely with a flowing, high-specification landscaping scheme. Working from a full strip-out using a Bobcat mini excavator, the project completely reimagined the layout around sweeping curves that guide the eye across the space and soften the hard landscaping. The main entertaining area was laid in large-format cream and warm beige porcelain tiles, wrapping generously around the full rear and side of the property to maximise usable outdoor space. A raised anthracite composite deck platform sits directly off the bifold doors, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor transition and an elevated seating zone that contrasts beautifully against the pale stonework. The standout feature of the project is the sinuous porcelain pathway edged in charcoal block paving, which curves elegantly through the freshly laid turf from the main patio all the way to the rear of the garden — a design decision that adds movement, depth, and a real sense of landscape architecture to what was previously an unstructured plot. Existing mature borders and planting were preserved where possible, with a white gravel side return adding texture and low-maintenance appeal. The result is a complete reinvention of the outdoor space — elegant, practical, and built to last.
